The South India Heritage Lecture Series - "The Rock-cut cave temples of Badami" by Smt. Nalini Kembhavi

Bangalore International Centre in association with Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) had arranged a Lecture on “The Rock-cut Cave Temples of Badami” interspersed with screening of IGNCA produced documentary film “The Talking Rocks of Badami” directed byMr.R Bharathadriat BIC on Saturday,28th June 2014 at 6.30 PM.
Mrs. NaliniKembhavi gave a detailedpresentation about the Chalukyan era with power point presentation.  The IGNCA film explored the awesome rock cut sculpture of the Badami caves in the Bijapur district of Karnataka which were created under Western Chaḷukya King Mangalesa in the Sixth century A.D.

A large, appreciative audience actively interacted with Mrs. NaliniKembhaviafter the screening was over.
