This book is a fascinatingcollection of anecdotes via Balagopal’s experiences as a young IAS officer in Manipur. This book also deals with issues like identity & nationhood, from a perspective of a district official in Manipur. It is deeply personal and offers insights on the core social, political, and developmental issues that shape the lives of the people living in a remote yet beautiful wonderland Manipur. In his talk, Balagopal highlighted the course of his personal journey which transformed him and helped him to develop an insight into the lives of the common men and women in the North East.
Mr.SreedharRao with his severalyears of experience in in North East, transformed the Q & A session into a lively interaction with the audience. It was clear during the interaction that several of the realities in the North East were unknown in other parts of the country.
